I'm a bit embarrassed to admit that I'm the hostess for this week's challenge CC850, as I found it difficult to work with my color selection of Pale Papaya, Magenta Madness, and Shaded Spruce with the dessert option of using 'Gold Accents'. But I'm proud to say I finally got it.
My background was stamped with Magenta Madness and Pale Papaya. You have to look but I used Shaded Spruce in the inked sentiment and the scalloped border. My dessert option can be found in the gold frame and gilded gems on the sentiment.
Please accept my challenge to creating a beauty with this unusual color combo, I would love to see your take! Thank you for taking a look!

I read your description and had to smile. I'm happy to hear I'm not alone in picking a color combo and ending up having a tough time with MY OWN CHOICE!
You did a lovely job LeAnn. After I saw the Expressions in Ink paper I was certain that was why you had picked these colors. The background you created in quite striking. Thanks for the challenge this week!

You really made me laugh with your opening statement, LeAnn! I kind of wondered about these colors too, but finally figured out what to do. Your bg is Gorgeous and keeping your die-cut white was a wonderful choice. All in all, a Beautiful card~

I love how you've used the stitched metallic frame on this, LeAnn. I'm just about addicted to those but don't recall trying it with metallic paper...yet! While I found these colors challenging too, I sometimes forget that it is SUPPOSED to be challenging... and I always appreciate the creative process that results.
